"She has been my guardian angel"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Breast Clinic

(as a service user),

I have been treated for secondary breast cancer for over a year at Hairmyres hospital in East Kilbride. I would like to give a huge shoutout to the breast nurse Jackie O’Donnell who has been caring for me during this period.

I have had experience of other breast care nurses which has been good but Jackie’s care has just been a cut above. She is always knowledgeable when any issues arise. Her manner whilst talking of difficult subject matter is so caring and thoughtful. She always ensures any calls that goto voicemail are  returned promptly. 

I have felt Jackie has been my guardian angel during this really difficult journey and I would like to give her a big shoutout.
