Appointment in the phlebotomy blood clinic at Ards Hospital in advance of an appointment at the diabetes hub in the Ulster Hospital, Dundonald.

Pedro - very enthusiastic - interrupted the receptionist who had asked me my name, he joked that he was after the employee of the next week award. It was good humored, the exchange between them. He took the urine sample, and a colleague of his said that I had been given the wrong paperwork last time to accompany today's sample.

Overall, it was a pleasant visit, with people attending to me who obviously enjoy their work! Pedro certainly does.
