"Acorn Centre - tongue tie assessment unit"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Acorn Paediatric Ambulatory Unit

(as a service user),

I was having trouble bottle feeding my three week old - as this clinic normally looks at breastfed babies I wasn't sure how my issue would be handled. Patricia and Pauline couldn't have been more welcoming and understanding, my worries had been for nothing. They assessed my son and gave suggestions as to how I could improve feeding with great help and demonstrations. Despite this being an extremely busy clinic these ladies helped me and my son as much as they could.

Dear smn95, I am the lead nurse with responsibility for the Acorn Unit and am very pleased to hear of the care you and your son received at the tongue tie clinic. I will pass your kind thoughts on to Pauline and Patricia directly and know that it will be greatly appreciated that you took the time to share your experience of their service

thank you
