"My visit to Craigavon"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

I was on holiday in NI when I had an accident on my bike which caused me to seek help from the accident and emergency department at Craigavon hospital.

I would like to thank the receptionist who initially took my call and dealt with me on my arrival. She put me at ease from the start.

Although the process took a long time from start to finish I was triaged, bloods taken and seen by an emergency doctor, who sat me down and explained to me all the possible outcomes of my accident and what I should do on my return to England. Not only did he do this he also phoned me later in the evening to check everything was ok and my medication was consistent with my diagnosis. I would be grateful if someone could pass on my thanks to the team and especially to this doctor for going the extra mile.

Sorry but I don't know his name.
