I’ve been under the care of gastroenterology for some years now and it’s my first time at this hospital.
The team who looked after me today were absolutely amazing. It’s a very nerve inducing procedure and they did fantastic for all the patients in settling them in.
The procedure itself was done with upmost professionalism and outstanding communication throughout, they were lovely to put up with my drug induced chat.
Aftercare by Claire was great too!
The only fault I could see was in the list management. I appreciate there are backlogs for everything at the moment. It’s clear they are overrun in the department. Management do need to consider staff wellness and avoidable burnout, you have fantastic staff but please take care of them.
I hope the flowers get to you ok! A small token of thanks for what is life saving treatment, for which I am indebted for. If infection prevention control don’t let you put them up - there is no substance to any research out there to suggest that flowers are vectors for viruses nor suck oxygen out the air (usual nonsense I’ve heard before).
Thank you thank you thank you.
