About: Specialist Therapy Services / Community Stroke Team – South Notts

(as the patient),

I had a stroke in July 2022.

The stroke team provided, and continue to provide, fantastic support from the moment I was discharged from hospital.

I had support from OT, physio and a therapist all of whom really helped me deal with the shock of having had a stroke, and gave me hope that things would improve.

I know that they aided my recovery so much, I would not be where I am now without their help.
