"Outstanding compassion and kindness"

About: Nottingham Treatment Centre (Epact Only) Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Dermatology

(as a service user),

Outstanding consultation from Dr Shroff and Dawn who was one of the nursing staff in a support role.

The appointment ran on time and I was instantly reassured that the lesion was non-cancerous. He inspired confidence in his diagnosis and gave me information on my condition.

Their compassion and kindness  showed just how important our NHS is in times of great pressure and overload. The anxiety and worry that had built up over time for me was removed in one short consultation.
Thank you to you both and thank you for caring.
I would like to see Dermatology and the Treatment Centre departments added to services located at QMC on Care Opinion to make it easier to find departments on this website to share feedback with staff who are doing great jobs even though they are exhausted.

Dear Jane, thank you for taking the time to write and share your recent experience of our outpatient dermatology service at the Nottingham Treatment Centre. We completely understand the worry and anxiety many patients face about the outcomes of these types of appointments, and it is so gratifying to hear how the kindness and compassion of our staff benefited you at this time. We will share your kind words with Dr Shroff, Dawn and the managers of this service.

We aren’t sure if your request to Care Opinion is something we can assist with at our end, but we will look into this.
