I was due to have my third baby at the end of December 2023 but due to the baby having an unstable lie, been seen in fetal medicine due to concerns regarding the baby’s kidneys, I was then scheduled in for an elective c-section for earlier on in December 2023. This was very daunting as my previous 2 births were normal vaginal deliveries. My consultant over my care was Dr Ferguson she was absolutely fantastic and put me at so much ease on the run up to my section. The 2 drs that done my surgery were absolutely brilliant and the whole staff I encountered that day were fantastic and put me at so much ease and made sure I was comfortable and aware of what was happening.
The care I received from the exceptional staff in Daisy Hill Hospital was outstanding antenatally and postnatally.
