"A wonderful team made my hospital stay fantastic"

I had another hysteroscopy recently at Whiston, Ward 3E. I'm not sure any hospital stay can be described as 'wonderful', but as hospital stays go, it was. I felt totally safe, cared for and involved in the whole process from the minute I stepped into the ward, down to theatre and back again. Kelly was the lovely nurse who looked after me and it was nice to be visited by Dr Cording and Dr Helen before the procedure which gave me a chance to ask a few questions. As for the theatre staff, well they should be on Britain's Got Talent. They're marvellous entertainers just before the anaesthetics takes over. I haven't forgotten the recovery nurse who sat beside my bed but I was too groggy to get her name. I also remember the cleaner, the porter and the tea lady. What a lovely team they all were that day. It was like watching bees going about their business in total harmony.
