My husband had an endoscopy today Sunday 8.30am. We thought that the department was very well organised & the fact that my husband saw the consultant & was told directly following the endoscopy that there were no serious problems was a great relief to us. He also came away with a report stating the results which I consider to be equal to private care. We would like to thank both the consultant & the nursing staff who certainly put my husband at ease prior to the endoscopy. It is a relief to know that the NHS is not all bad which is what we normally see in the media.
