Anything else?
After attending the rheumatology clinic on the 2nd April I was prescribed medication for two months and advised this was plenty of time for my gp to arrange repeat prescriptions. I am sure this would have been the case had they ever bothered to contact my gp. When requesting a script in June I was informed that this was not possible as my gp has no record of me ever attending the clinic. Both myself and my gp surgery have contacted the hospital on numerous occasions and been told it would be sorted. Yet 3 days after the original requests a fax has not been sent and I am still without medication. Thankfully it is not life.saving medication, but not having it does reduce my quality of life. If you have to attend.this hospital insist that you receive copies of all letters so you can be sure they are being sent out.
"rheumatologist failed to communicate with gp."
