"The worst hospital I have been to"

About: North Middlesex Hospital

Anything else?

I am currently 25 weeks pregnant and can’t wait to change hospitals which I intent to do imminently. I have a high risk pregnancy due to various issues and have to go to various checks on a weekly basis. Never have I been subjected to rude staff that clearly need to learn a lesson in manners. Even when you turn up for your appointments on time early you will be left to wait hours to be seen. This is tolerable if this is a handful of instances but appears to be the norm. It’s hard enough being seen on your appointment day let alone coming to appointments (after receiving a letter) only to be told an error was made and in fact there is no appointment! Then you have to beg for an apology. Pregnancy is hard enough especially if you are working full time. I would never recommend this hospital.

Thank you for your comments. I am sorry to hear about your poor experience and would like the opportunity of talking to you about what happened. I am the head of midwifery at the North Middlesex University Hospital and I'm keen to improve the service we provide. I would therefore welcome an opportunity to hear more of what you have to say. Please email me at f.laird@nhs.net, giving me a mobile number so I can call you back.
