I fell off my bike and fractured my shoulder needing some stitches for a chin scrape too. The staff at MIU were wonderful, taking me almost straight through triage to lie down. The examination was thorough and sensitive and staff kept me fully informed throughout the process of examining, X-raying and testing. When I struggled to get back on my feet when they tried to send me home, the wonderful ladies dug into their lunchboxes to feed me flapjacks and tea and stayed an extra two hours after closing to ensure I could take transport to Frenchay A&E (which was a completely different story...) The stafff were compassionate, communicative and genuinely caring. I can't thank them enough.
