My husband was rushed to Addenbrooks after suffering a suspected heart attack. Afer waiting for 5 hours, being moved from corridoor to corridoor for the results of a blood test... was then discharged .... Staff ... well there were hardly any. It was dirty and I will now be opting for a private health plan.

We are so sorry that your experience was so poor that you have lost faith in the hospital. Without knowing the detail of when your husband was a patient and who he saw it is very difficult to offer a meaningful reply. From a cleanliness point of view all areas are spot checked and subjected to ongoing audits. I am not aware of any present issues regarding the cleanliness of the Emergency Department but I have shared your posting with the Senior Clinical Nurse and Estates team so that they are aware of your concerns.
