I was very pleased when I received a simular procedure in Jan 2012 so I was very happy when I was told my surgery would take place ht Mount Vernons Trinity Day Care unit. I have no idea what has happened in the last 15 months but it is not good. I turned up at Trinity day care at 7am, and finally got taken to my bed at 11am (i discovered later, there was no bed for me, hence the wait) where my visitors were asked to leave. Not one member of staff spoke to me until 2pm when I had my review by the anaesthetist. Two weeks later, my referral for post op physiotherapy has still not been completed. Very sad and disappointed with this experience.
