"Swinley Ward: Although didn't want to be in hospital, staff made it a pleasant stay."

About: Royal Albert Edward Infirmary / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

Like most people, didn't want to stay in hospital, spend 5 nights in Wigan Royal Albert for abdominal pains, a couple of nights on the Clinical Decision Ward, which is busy but staff very nice and always at hand when needed.

Then I was transferred to Swinley Ward, yet again staff very nice, helpful as well as very professional.

Although didn't want to be in hospital, staff made it a pleasant stay.

Thank you.

Thank you for your comment in respect of your recent stay in Wigan Royal Albert Edward Infirmary. As you have commented no one wishes to be in hospital but I was please to note that the staff were able to offer reassurance during your stay. I will pass your comments to the appropriate staff within the Divison of Medicine and the Division of Surgery to share with their staff.

Kind regards
