Anything else?
I went to St Mary's for after care after giving birth at the General and I'm so glad I did. The team were fantastic and had so much time for you. They spent so much time with me helping me with breast feeding and, because of that, I had no problems once I got home. I know that it wouldn't have been as successful without the midwives at St Mary's. Everyone was really friendly and were lovely to my husband and family as well. I felt ready to go home after 2 nights there whereas I would have felt really daunted if I had had to leave a few hours after giving birth. Having that postnatal care facility just gives you the chance to spend the first couple of days focusing on you and the baby which is really important. I hope to have my next baby at St Mary's as we had such a positive experience this time.
"Great facility, wonderful staff"
