Anything else?

A friend had been admitted and I simply wanted to know how he was progressing and if it was OK to visit. It took five calls before my call was answered by the switchboard and even then it took an eternity to get through to the ward who were at least reasonably helpful.

Dear Justin - I'm sorry you had such difficulty getting through - there can be times when the switchboard is overwhelmed and it can be very frustrating I know. There is some work in hand around efficiency of call answering so hopefully this experience will soon be an exception. I'm glad that once you did get through to the ward they were able to help you. Thank you again.
