I can only give praise for the terrific help and care I was given by staff on the Kings Surgical Trauma Ward. The staff were very considerate, empathetic and supportive for the short four day stay having had corrective surgery for a badly broken leg. I felt very sorry for the heavy workload the staff were constantly under and at times it was clear thy were not able to give their full attention and care to some patiences as either resources or man power were lacking. I appreciate the hard and difficult circumstances and conditions the staff I came into contact work under, but this did not stop them from always being supportive, friendly and compassionate. I would also like to pay a big thank you to the surgical team that put my battered leg back together . . an amazing feat that money really cannot buy.
