"Fell off mountain bike at high speed"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I was taken in to hospital after a high speed fall off my mountain bike.

I have a broken collar bone but had to have an internal ultrasound of my organs, a head to pelvis CT scan, iodine scan of my kidneys, tennis jab and x-ray of my shoulder.

The staff, my treatment was truly amazing, I was treated really well and very thank full.

Dear Pauliboy

Many thanks for taking the time to post your comments about the emergency department.

As we see an average of over 230 patients per day, of whom over 85 arrive by ambulance it's a very busy part of the hospital, so it's very pleasing that you felt you had "amazing" treatment.

Kind regards

Ian
