Anything else?
I attended A&E last week after being advised by 111 to go immediately after a very bad fall down stairs and worry about internal damage. Check in and triage nurse consultation within 40 minutes which I think is amazing. Seen by a consultant within about an hour after that. All obs, bloods, x ray and ultrasound taken care of within the next 2 hours. That is a lot of attention within a 4 hour period and so I was extremely impressed. Final discharge at the clinical decision setting was quick too, but all I would say is that this felt a little rushed and I didn't get a chance to ask for after care advice, but t since I had no serious damage then that is acceptable and I was in no way a priority for them by then. All staff were extremely caring and professional, and that must be hard especially when there is a culture of NHS bashing. We are lucky to have this service.
"Excellent and thorough treatment at A&E"
