Anything else?
I attended Heartlands Hospital yesterday for a neck X-ray. I was surprised to be directed to this hospital as it is a 45-minute drive, whilst I live only 10 minutes' drive from Solihull Hospital. When I arrived it took me 15 minutes to find a parking space in a hugely overcrowded car park. However, when I finally found a space and entered the hospital, I was seen promptly and the staff were exemplary. My point is that if a decision was made to transfer services from Solihull to Heartlands, some thought should have been given to whether the parking at Heartlands would be adequate. The drive and the struggle to find a parking space proved quite exhausting. Probably more so as I am 75 years old.
