What I liked

I have recently had dealings with the departments of dermatology, A&E and Orthopaedics. I would like to compliment the staff for the outstanding treatment I received at all stages. I was dealt with quickly, efficiently and politely, and was kept fully informed at all times. I hadn't used NHS services for about 40 years prior to this, and was expecting all sorts of problems, as detailed by the media! They are wrong! I had a brilliant service which deserves a big pat on the back.

What could be improved

Whilst in the waiting ward (RATU?) I did see an elderly lady in some distress. I had to draw staff attention to the problem. Perhaps someone could look at the patient monitoring procedure in that department.
