"Eye Treatment Centre-Opthamology"

About: Whipps Cross University Hospital

Anything else?

I was referred to WXH Eye Treatment centre after visiting my GP and then the optician as I had floaters in my eye and i am a type 2 diabetic. I received my referral letter and walked into main Casualty by mistake where I was helped by a receptionist with one of the largest smiles i had ever seen and was redirected. On arriving at the correct location - the receptionist dealt with me immediately, checked my previous information thoroughly such as address, phone number etc. She told me exactly what would happen and i was handed a number. I am a great observer of people and I was impressed as to how the clinics were run and with staff introducing themselves before they redirected their patients to the correct seating area. All the staff who tended to me were polite, informative and reassuring. A very good experience and complients are not paid often enough to these hard working people. Well done. Elizabeth Powell
