About: Chesterfield Royal Hospital

Anything else?

I have recently been put on the Symbicort SMART regime but been prescribed Symbicort 400/12. As the information leaflet and the inhaler itself say not to be used in this way I am concerned that I may be taking a higher dose than recommended. When I mentioned this to the doctor in the clinic they told me I was stupid and didnt know anything. I have since researched the SMART regime and the 400/12 inhaler is not licenced for use as a reliever.
