"Cataract surgery: I had very good help from the hospital"

About: Harmoni / NHS 111 Hillingdon Hospital / Accident and emergency Hillingdon Hospital / Ophthalmology London Ambulance Service NHS Trust

(as the patient),

I am 84 years old and recently had a eye operation to remove a cataract. I had very good help from the hospital.

After returning home I could not see, it was like looking through fog, so I phoned 111 who arranged an ambulance and took me to A&E. They were very patient and helpful, very reassuring.
