"May Bank Holiday Weekend"

My husband and I were in Grantham for the May bank holiday, we are from Aberdeen. On the Friday I was in excruciating abdominal pain and was advised to go to Grantham A &E. on arrival all staff were very helpful and we didn't have long to wait to see the nursing staff. Both were highly professional in all aspects of examination and took time to reasure me every step of the way! The nurse was extremely good as was the doctor. I can't remember his name, but his manner was absolutely brilliant! After a battery of tests, they allowed me to leave, but only after I was satisfied and happy with treatment and aftercare they had provided. I was also asked to come back for a CT scan on the Tuesday as this couldn't be done at the time due to holiday weekend. Hospital phoned on Tuesday morning and said just to come in when ready. Again nothing to much trouble for staff and they were all so friendly and helpful. We are now home and just waiting for results to be sent to GP, but I felt. I had to leave a review and say how great this small hospital is. Thank you all so much and all the best for the future to the doctor who is heading up to Aberdeen to continue his career! Morag T
