Never having had an operation before I was very apprehensive, I was reassured put at ease and the operation went well. Consultant was wonderful, and the operating staff very professional and friendly at all times I was kept well informed of all procedures. The staff of Ward One were magnificent, they were friendly, professional and kind. The single room was clean and comfortable, and I was never kept waiting for medicines, bedpans or help, the call button was always answered immediately. The nursing was excellent being an ex-nurse myself I could make an informed judgement. The food was extremely good and presented well, no complaints whatsoevery about the whole experience. 7th March 2013 Angela M
