"Ward 16 (hip replacement): Staff involved in my care were without fault"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Trauma & orthopaedics (wards 26, 27, 61 & 62 )

(as the patient),

I recently had a short stay in ward 16 for a hip replacement operation. With no exception all the staff involved in my care were without fault.

Care 100%, dignity 100%, privacy 100%, respect 100%, support 100%.

This is true of my experience although all the staff were very busy.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to provide your very kind feedback.

I will ensure that this is passed on to those involved and I am sure that they will be very pleased to read your comments.

I am sorry that this posting was not acknowledged at the time, we had a break in our use of Patient Opinion, but we have now resumed doing so, and I thought it was still important to acknowledge your posting and where appropriate to pass comments on.

Once again, thank you for using the Patient Opinion feedback system, it is greatly appreciated.

All of the nursing and medical teams who cared for you at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary will be delighted to read your very thoughtful and uplifitng remarks.
