I have had terrible experiances with KGH accident and emergency every time ive been unfortunate enough to go up there, the most recent experiance was an absolute joke, my 2 year old daughter went in and after being assessed and being told she was a high priority case and would be one of the next ones in we was left to sit there for almost 4 hours before we was seen, the assessment nurse also misdiagnosed her condition and caused her further pain with an inappropriate dressing, followed by the doctor giving the right diagnosis and then again the same inappropriate dressing pulling off two layers of her skin. If any of my family ever need to go to the hospital again I will be taking them to nendoc first rather than a and e, they don't ever stick to their time frames an most definately should have seperate sections for adults and children, I don't appreciate my poorly daughter sitting next to a drugged up hulligan covered in blood waffling rubbish and If a paediatric nurse would of assessed her they would've clearly had more of an idea than what this nurse had had.
