About: The Royal London Hospital For Integrated Medicine

(as the patient),

What I liked

The doctors at The Royal London Homeopathic Hospital treat the body as a whole not just the symptoms, which is a very effective way of treating an illness. The medication which is prescribed at the RLHH has no side effects unlike allopathic drugs.

The hospital offers a variety of complementary sympathetic treatments enabling the doctor to run one treatment alongside another.

All Doctors at the RLHH are all fully trained Medical Practitioners and Homeopaths in their specialised field of medicine. While treating their patients they are sensitive to their allopathic treatment and run their treatment along side.

By questioning about the patients physical pain, personal relationships and environment, and how one reacts to certain life situations, helps towards determining the correct treatment.

All the staff are polite and helpful.

The hospital has been tastefully refurbished allowing easy access to clinics which cater for a variety of illnesses.

The whole hospital is kept clean and tidy. It has an atmosphere of calm and efficiency about it.

My Rheumatoid Arthritis flared up in 1981. Within two years I was told that in another 20 years, I would be permanently in a wheelchair. I periodically had side effects from my allopathic drugs. Nobody went to the root cause of my Arthritis until I went to the RLHH in 1993. There has been a lot of stress within my family which has delayed my recovery, but I have now turned a major corner.

I have been off Allopathic drugs since April 2007. My treatment now consists of Homeopathy, Anti-inflammatory diet, Autogenic Training and exercise. With all this I keep free of pain. Although I have to be careful not to over work myself, I feel so much better now.

I think it is inhumane to deny people the chose of complementary treatment under the care of such highly trained doctors in the NHS.

Complementary medicine costs a fraction of orthodox treatments. In China, they run the two types of medicine along side one another and we all know how fit the Chinese are.

I think the RLHH is a great asset to our country.

What could be improved

To my knowledge and experience I do not think that the RLHH needs improvement in any shape or form.
