Anything else?
my baby was born with a congenital malformation, polydactylyy, that will require plastic surgery. she was referred at birth and we were told she would have had an appointment by 6 weeks to be seen by a plastic surgeon, but after spending hours on the phone with various departments in the Readinbg hospital where my baby was born we were only told to contact John Radcliffe and left to deal with it. apparently at John Radcliffe plastic surgery department there are two doctors that could be suitable for my baby problem, we have been in touch with the department last week to try and get an appointment. the person we spoke to was supposed to call us back but that did not happen so far. I left another message in the answer machine this morning, my baby is 13 weeks now and we are still struggling to get an appointment for her to be seen. can you please advice on how can we get an appointment for my baby? who should we ask? why is it so complicated if she was referred at birth? help please.
"baby referred ages ago but no appointment yet,..."
