"Supported me through a very difficult time"

About: Advocacy Support Cymru

(as the patient),

I received advocacy support for a complaint against Aneirin Bevan Trust from Joanna Bogacz, community health advocate.

She supported me regarding a complaint about the care/support I received from a mental health worker at Ysbyty Hospital, Ebbe Vale.

She supported me through a very difficult time and treated me with respect, something lacking in the mental health team as a whole.

She listened to me and enabled me to have my voice heard in the right areas.

Without advocacy support, I honestly feel my complaint would not have been aired.
