"Waiting for ages"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital

(as the patient),

Sitting in waiting room for an appointment wait for 20minhs then they call you in and another 4 ..to then sit in the corridor for another 50 mins... Why make an appointment for 11am and they know you are not going to go in till 12-20? ? I wasn't the only one to complain, but what surprised me more was the amount of staff walking the corridor going in and out of the staff room, chatting about the weekend in groups..efficiency gone wrong!

I am sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied when accessing this service recently. I apologise for the fact that your experience was poor as a result of you having such a long wait.

We really try hard to improve our services based on the comments we receive from our patients.

I have shared your feedback with the out-patients manager who will share this with her team at their meeting.
