Excellent hospital, staff very friendly and reassuring, real team working shown. I felt really well cared and everything was clearly explained. The idea of a operation under spinal anesthetic is a bit scary not knowing what to expect but the whole thing was a reassuring experience. Even being able to see inside my knee and watch what happened was fascinating. Post op care on the ward was very good , having heard tales from others about other day surgery units were the staff were trying to get people off the ward asap and people having to go home before they were ready, Goole was nothing like that and everything was focussed about what was right for you. The consultant and anesthetist were really good at explaining what would happen and making the whole experience better than expected. Please tell all the staff of Ward 7 they are wonderful and I would recommend Goole hospital to everyone.
