Anything else?
It takes us 90 minutes to get to the hospital and it is frustrating when we find nothing out. Either the surgeon is not in and his colleagues say we must come back a week later to get his diagnosis. Or we go back a week later and the surgeon tells us we'll need to have another x-ray before he can decide anything, so we go away again to wait for another appointment. I'm sure operation waiting list times could be shortened if these unnecessary appointments had been replaced with an email or phone call. (In this case, 2 adults missed work, as the patient cannot reach the hospital by public transport and needed a lift.) We do, however, appreciate the text appointment reminders - great idea!
