Have just had a colonoscopy this morning (without sedation) and it was was not that bad at all. The staff in Endoscopy are amazing. Very thoughtful and caring. I only had bad discomfort once during the procedure but the consultant laid off the air for a while and all was good. Can't fault a thing, I'm now sat at home with tea and toast wondering what all my panicking was about. Please pass on my thanks to Endoscopy Unit staff :-)
