"Disorganised and difficult to get straight answers"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

My father was admitted to an assessment ward after being admitted to A&E with low blood pressure. He waited in A&E for 6 hours. After being admitted to ward, nursing staff succeeded in tearing his skin when moving him sufficient to require stitches .. And then didn't dress e weeping wound for 3 days. During this time he also had a fall while being supervised when urinating. Do I think this could be improved? Well, it is difficult to see how they could be worse

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. I am saddened to read that your father hasn’t received the appropriate level of care at our hospital and I would like to have the opportunity to address these issues in more detail. I would like for you to contact me directly on 0116 258 5275 or by email anna.duke@uhl-tr.nhs.uk so we can look into this as soon as possible. Kind regards Anna Duke Matron Emergency Department Leicester’s Hospitals
