I had a hip replacement carried out at Kendal, Cumbria. I had never stayed in hospital before and was very concerned. I cannot thank the staff enough, they were fantastic, friendly but very professional and attentive. The food was really good. My only complaint was the fact that the Physiotheropists don't work at weekends or bank holidays, so had to spend another day in hospital. Even then all they did was show me exercises I had already been doing and how to go up and down stairs. They didn't offer any other treatment. I couldn't see any reason for them being there.
