"Very little, except the nurses ..."

About: Northwick Park Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

Very little, except the nurses seemed apologestic themselves as they were short staffed.

What could be improved

I visited my grandmother who is 86 years old and recovering from a hip replacement on 17/02/08. She is carrying MRSA so is in her own side room which was simply filthy. The camode had not been emptied, the room smelt of urine, her nightdress was heavily soiled and she had clearly had an 'accident' and had not been washed or changed. The windows are a disgrace and the whole place needs a deep clean- no wonder infections are on the rise. The care in this hospital is simply despicable.
