Surgery to repair fractured knee cancelled 3 times. When eventually went ahead was left in recovery for 6 hours as no beds on ward. Discharged next day with no pain relief administered after 5.30 am and no take home pain relief No follow up care explained Shortage of nursing staff and theatre staff had to work over shift due to amount of patients who were stuck in recovery Surgeon was excellent
