I am writing to express how satisfied I am with the care and support I have had from my Specialist MS Nurse, after being diagnosed with MS in December 2011. It took a while to get a diagnosis but since then, my neurologist and particulary the Specialist MS nurse have been fantastic. When I have had relapses I have been able to get MRI scans and Disease Modifying treatments a lot easier than many people in my situation elsewhere in the country. The nurse is often in clinic or with other patients when I have had to call but they always return my calls the same day. When I have needed treatment or medication they have arranged it very quickly with no fuss. It is a massive reassurance for me know I can contact them if I need to as this is still a very scary time for me.
