About: Sandwell General Hospital

Anything else?

I visited Sandwell hospital on 19/05/2013 at 1am, I've had an on going concern with passing out I went to my gp he said if it happens again go straight to the hospital,, this is what I did I waited an hour and got called through into a room to then wait three hours no one checked on me they left me there, my partner told them that I'd been there for several hours without being seen to and the nurses attitude was " you will be seen when your seen" there were only 4 other ppl in rooms waiting to be seen,, in the end I walked out with out assistance, help, any insight to what could be wrong to me ,, also they put a man in the corridor on a chair who had taken some sort of tablets and he was being sick every where and I went to the lady's toilet and a lady appeared to be having an epileptic fit she had fell on her face and was severley bleeding I got her into recovery position and told my friend to call a nurse the nurse came in and she said to me " move" her attitude was disgusting I proberbly saved this woman's life and the nurse never even said thankyou, i would never go to this hospital again

Dear Kylie, I am sorry to hear about your unsatisfactory experience at Sandwell Hospital, this is not the service we seek to provide. If you contact me on tobylewis@nhs.net we will investigate this matter thoroughly. Toby Lewis, Chief Executive.
