Had our second baby on Monday 2nd day visit by community midwife eventually on day 3 after waiting in for 2 days. 5 day visit they could not guarantee they could make it at all and told us to go to the hospital ourselves. 10 day visit promised am visit 5.30 still no show and no idea when they might arrive. I took day off work and we all stayed in all day for nothing. No communication , no explanation dont think they care. 2 children and it happened both times. Dont waste your time waiting in.
