About: Chesterfield Royal Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I was referred to ophthalmics from my optician after I was diagnosed with a rare eye condition. I wasn't really looking forward to attending my first appointment and was expecting to wait a while for my appointment.

Upon arriving, the reception staff were very professional and I was seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time. I have been to ophthalmics several times now in the last five months, and it is no longer a chore. The staff are polite, friendly, compassionate and friendly.

I have now been referred to another hospital for treatment - they have a lot to live up to! Keep up the good work!
