Just visited Bodmin Minor Injuries Unit for the first time. I was very impressed indeed with the experience. All the staff with whom I came in contact were extremely helpful and friendly. I was seen rapidly and treated very quickly (initial investigation, X-ray, then a cast to support my broken ankle until the next fracture clinic - all within ~1.5h). They were also very helpful in arranging for my next visit to be at Bodmin rather than Truro. They even called for a taxi to take me home! Everywhere appeared spotlessly clean and in very good order. All in all it was a fantastic demonstration of what the NHS can provide to patients. Well done everyone!
