Anything else?
I attended Good Hope in Jan 2010, and again in April 2013. My first visit was satisfactory, my second visit in April 2013 was appalling. Brought in by ambulance, having been given morphine for the extreme pain, I was met with a long queue of stretchers in the corridor (Tuesday evening, approx 5pm). To assist the paramedics I transferred to a wheelchair so they could leave with their stretcher. I then waited in the waiting area for 7 hours+, having seen a nurse once who did a blood test, gave me no further information and just left me......eventually after 1 am, my daughter (14) was extremely tired so we left....the nurses did not even come to offer me water/pain relief or any information.....once home I removed my cannula myself and saw my own GP for diagnosis and treatment.
