About: Cannock Chase Hospital

Anything else?

appointment 10:50am, still waiting to be seen by medical staff at 11:55am. Says it all. appreciate that emergency's can happen. But surely one of the staff who seem to do a lot of wakking about, could inform waiting patients, of possible length ow time they will be delayed.

I was not a patient but was with my Wife.

Response from Head of Patient Experience, Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust

I am sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied when accessing this service with your wife recently. I apologise for the fact that your experience was poor.

We really try hard to improve our services based on the comments we receive from our patients and I fully agree with your observation that patients should be kept informed when delays occur.

I have shared your feedback with the out-patients manager who will remind her team of the importance of this at the next team meeting.

Kind Regards

Angela Grocott

Head of Patient Experience
