I found the course extremely useful! Having never been shown how to cook, it has given me some great ideas for healthy recipes. Also having the opportunity to work on a one to one basis with my daughter, and for her to chop, prepare and cook on her own has been invaluable.

The best bit has been, (she is a very fussy eater) that she has eaten and enjoyed everything she has made and wants to make it again. Being able to eat what we have made together has also been great as I often eat at a different time to my children. Interesting, to see how much salt, sugar and fats there are in foods. Great! Brilliant! !

Your comments show that this session appears to have been beneficial to you on a number of levels. Not only has it shown you how to cook and prepare some healthy dishes, it has given you some the opportunity to spend some invaluable time with your daughter on a one to one basis. It is great news that by participating in this food activity she has actually eaten and enjoyed eating some new foods. I hope that this now leads onto her wanting to continue cooking further and then eating the finished results. Good luck with this and I hope you continue to enjoying cooking new meals together.
