I had to attend casualty this morning,saturday11th may..i stood in a long line and waited for my turn,listening to all the problems people were telling the 'nurse'..i explained in full hearing of all people in the Que,i thought i had broken a toe.There was no proper examination,not even a seat to sit down on.She said i should go home and take a painkiller,if it felt painful later to go to Beckenham MI ! ...I live no where near there! Why was all this done in full hearing of a crowded room,surely some privacy could be afforded to people ? I left there without being seen by a doctor....i went to another Boroughs MI unit to be spoken to in a private room in a calm manner,i was seen by a nurse who has booked me for an xray.Take note PRU,if another busy borough can run a busy unit with dignity and efficency why cant you ??
